**Hey Summer Bridger's**
My name is Sonia Mota and I'm from San Clemente which is about thirty minutes away from San Marcos. It is really hard leaving the people you love behind even if it's just for the Summer. I guess we get use to living our typical life and all of a sudden we are on a new journey at San Marcos. I recently graduated from San Clemente High School which was a school that I loved because it was an awesome experience especially when you have many friends to rely on. I was part of the AVID program which helped me get to where I am now. Another huge influence on my life of course are my parents. Ever since I was small they taught me what was right and what was wrong. Thanks for their support and love I've been able to come along as a daughter and as a student. I love my sisters. They are the most persons to have fun with. If I'm feeling down they are to be here for me, always willing to back me up. We like to shop together, spend time together, and of course, laugh together. Another really important person in my life is my boyfriend Luis whom I've been with for four years. It's an incredible experience because I really connect and have fun with him. The challenging part was when we needed to connect with eachother's family, but we went through:) My biggest fears are many, but one thing I can't stand are worms. I don't like them because I think they're gross and slimy. Well I hope to become close to all of you students and lets live this life to the fullest! Well I think that's all I can say for now, and if I forgot something I'll come back!
